The 28th edition of Polish Film Festival in America (PFFA), the world’s most extensive showcase of Polish film and the largest annual Polish cultural event outside of Poland, will take place from Saturday, November 5 to Sunday, November 20, 2016 in two cinematic venues in the Chicagoland.

The Official VIP Opening Night Gala Screening is scheduled for Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 8:00 P.M. in one of the most elegant cinema multiplexes in the country, Muvico 18 (9701 Bryn Mawr Ave., Rosemont). Parking is free with a parking ticket validation.

The Opening Night Gala Reception with stars of Polish film in attendance will start at 5:30 P.M. and will continue to 7:30 P.M., and take place at the Society for Arts (1112 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago). Free parking is limited, and a valet parking will be available.

The Closing Night Gala and Award Ceremony will take place in Muvico18 on Sunday, November 20th at 4:00 P.M. For all special screenings and receptions separate invitations are required.

Except for Muvico 18, regular PFFA screenings will be held in Gallery Theatre (1112 North Milwaukee Ave.), the Festival’s primary location for showings of documentary films; the elegant digital space accommodates HD screenings. The theatre is known as a reputable site of docsPace program showcasing the world’s best documentary films. The luxury 75-seat auditorium hosts an art gallery and a small cafeteria. Gallery Theatre offers a limited free parking. Occasional screenings are planned for other selected cultural centers, schools and universities in Illinois.

Festival Passes and Opening Night Gala Invitations will be on sale on September 15, 2016. Singular tickets will be on sale on October 5, 2016. A complete program and a listing of the PFFA Official Guests will be announced about one month prior to the Festival.
