The story of Wanda Rutkiewicz and Pasang Lhamu Sherpa, two women who dare to oppose the prevailing order and influence the next generation of mountaineers in Poland and Nepal. More than love of the highest mountains connects the women. Both Wanda and Pasang pursue their dreams, challenged not only by altitude and bad weather, but also by their own weaknesses. Each of them opposes the masculine order of the world in which they live. 25 years after the disappearance of Wanda and Pasang, Kinga Baranowska and Maya Sherpa appear on the world stage. They are the successors of the tradition of women mountain climbers inspired by the brave heroism of the last century.
