SYNOPSIS
Zyga, who is thirty-eight and lives not far from Warsaw, attempts to explain the rules governing the world to his son, Witek. Not that he himself always sticks to them, a fact that hasn’t escaped his quick-witted offspring’s notice.
TOMASZ GĄSSOWSKI
Born in 1963 in Warsaw. Musician, composer, director, writer. In 2014, Tomasz Gąssowski graduated from the Wajda School’s Development Lab programme for directors. He has worked closely with Andrzej Jakimowski for twenty-five years, composing the music for his films, which have won numerous awards in Poland and internationally, including “Imagine”, winner of the 2013 Mocarty Radio FM Classic Best Film Music award and a Special Mention at the 3rd Krzysztof Komeda Film Festival, “Tricks” and his first film, “Squint Your Eyes”, which he also co-produced. Member of Polish Film Academy.
