The documentary tells the story of life and death of a most colorful character of the Second Polish Republic, General and Doctor Bolesław Wieniawa-Długoszowski who was a doctor, writer, cavalry officer, and diplomat. His biography summarizes the whole history of the revival of Poland and its fall between the two world wars.
