BEHIND THE BLUE DOOR

SYNOPSIS

This story takes the viewer on an unusual journey. It has everything that children love: interesting characters, mysterious creatures, and even new friends – colorful, magical birds. This is the tale about what happens when you close your eyes and fall asleep, and a magical door opens to the world of dreams. This world is so realistic that you can live in it, so exciting that you want to see it all, but it is also so mysterious that you can start to fear it. The extraordinary adventure begins when eleven-year-old Lukasz sets off with his mother for a long anticipated vacation. The film demonstrates the power of a parental love.
MARIUSZ PALEJ
Born in 1970 in Cracow. Cinematographer, director. Graduated in cinematography from the National Film School in Łódź. Worked as cinematographer on multiple documentary films, television series and television plays. “Behind the Blue Door” is his feature debut.
