THE FASTEST, a thrilling based on facts new movie by Lukasz Palkowski (director of acclaimed GODS) will officially conclude the 29th Polish Film Festival in America on Sunday, November 19th at 4:00 PM. in AMC Rosemont 18. The film has been just awarded the Audience Prize at the recent Gdynia Film Festival.
The fascinating, true-life story of endurance athlete Jerzy Gorski. In 1990 in the World Triathlon Championships Double Ironman competition he finished with a time of 24:47:46, setting a world record. His story is full of incredible ups and downs, tremendous effort, and unbelievable strength. His achievements would not have been possible without two women in his life. One woman he lost. The other woman inspired him to fight for his life. Extraordinary story of a man who found himself on a verge of self-annihilation only to overcome his addictions and succeed in the most unbelievable way.
The movie is starring Jakub Gierszal, Arkadiusz Jakubik, Janusz Gajos, Artur Zmijewski, Kamila Kaminska, Magdalena Cielecka, Adam Woronowicz, Anna Prochniak. Produced by Iron Films.

A surprise mini-concert will precede the screening. There will be only one showing of THE FASTEST. The movie will be released in cinemas in Poland simultaneously.
