The film tells a story of Laura, who has to grow up too fast due to both her parents being mute. Forced to take care of them, she’s dealing with situations a girl her age should not be dealing with. From the day she was born Laura lives in two worlds – in the world of silence of her home and in the world of hearing.

Born in 1968 in Gdańsk. Director and screenwriter. A graduate in the Polish Philology from the University of Gdańsk, and in the Directing from the National Film School in Łódź. A member of the European Film Academy. Recipient of many national and international awards.
