The story of four women who are all close friends. Living in a small town, Agata, Renata, Iza, and Marzena try to find their place in a rapidly changing world, no easy task. Though wild capitalism rages around them, people remains rooted in the previous, communist era. The four women are torn between living conventionally and living life on their own terms. More than anything they desire love, which turns out to be alternatively toxic and healing, creating depression in one moment and hope in the next.
