ANDRZEJ KUKUŁA
Born in 1953 in Nieradz. Director of animation films. Author of artistic studies, animator, producer of multimedia programs and games for children. Illustrator and cartoonist. In the beginning of the 80-ties, he worked in the Studio of Cartoon Film in Bielsko-Biała, and the Feature Film Production in Wrocław. He currently works with many studios, among them TV Studio of Animated Films in Poznań, where he made the films “Marc Chagall” (animation, 1994) and the “Animated History of the World” (animation, 1997). He does artistic direction and makes multimedia programs, computer games for children, among them “The Prince and the Coward”, 1997 and animated ad clips, displays. Winner of over 10 awards at international and national Festivals. Member of the Association of Polish Filmmakers.

Dawno, dawno temu, a może nie tak dawno… za górami, za lasami, a może gdzieś niedaleko… w znanym mieście Krakowie, psy, koty, myszy, a nawet ludzie żyli ze sobą w wielkiej przyjaźni. Aż pewnego razu za sprawą psa Opryszka i kotki Gryzeldy doszło do złamania niepisanego prawa mówiącego, co się komu należy, jeżeli spadnie ze straganu na ziemię. Został więc spisany kodeks, który miał obowiązywać wszystkich, jednak wkrótce każdy zaczął interpretować go na swoją korzyść…
Opowieść o tym, że łamanie prawa dla własnych korzyści zawsze prowadzi do chaosu i głębokich podziałów oraz że stare porzekadło “żyją jak pies z kotem” nie wzięło się znikąd…

Born in 1980 in Łódź. Director, scriptwriter, animator and artist. She graduated from the Polish National Film School in Łódź, the Department of Animation Film. Since 2005, has worked for the TV Studio of Animation Films in Poznań. Since 2012, doctor of filmmaking, lecturer at the National Film School in Łódź. Primarily pursues make films for children and young people in the painting animation technique directly under the camera. Winner of over 20 awards at international and national Festivals.

Dawno, dawno temu, a może nie tak dawno, za górami, za lasami, a może gdzieś niedaleko, żył sobie Bartek, który zaprzyjaźnił się z ranną Kaczuszką. Zdobył też przyjaźń Wężowego Króla, którego wyratował z opresji i otrzymał za to w podzięce fujarkę o magicznej mocy.
ROBERT TURŁO
Born in 1966 in Podgrodzie. Director of animation films, artist, scriptwriter and animator. From 1987 – 1993, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, and in the years 1996 – 1998, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he obtained his diploma from the Graphic Arts Faculty, at the animated film studio of Daniel Szczechura. He is the author of numerous vide-clips and animated films. Co-designer of multimedia exhibition, of the European Centre for the Fairy in Pacanów. Winner of over 20 awards at international and national festivals, including the Gold World Medal in New York, Special Remi Jury Award in Houston, Award “Bronze Cairo”, Children’s Jury Award “Rooster” in Tarnów.

Once upon a time, maybe not too long ago… Behind the mountains, behind the woods, or maybe somewhere not far away … there was Forest Ranger, who was guarding the last three wolves living in the last, small and miserable forest. There was also a Lumberjack who built birdhouses for lack of job. And there was a Devil who should do what was usually assigned to devils, that is, tempt and persuade evil, but … he was tempted by Lumberjack’s raspberries.

Professor. 2012 – 2008: Vice-Rector of the University of Fine Arts in Poznań. 2010: Gold Medal awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland; 2008: Silver Medal „For Services to Culture Gloria Artis”, Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland. Since 1982, has worked for the TV Studio of Animation Films in Poznan. In 1990, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. Since 1990: Assistant lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts. Winner of over 30 awards at international and national Festivals. Member of the Association of Polish Filmmakers.

Zabawna opowieść o małpie, która pomimo wszelkich prób upodobnienia się do człowieka pozostaje sobą… Małpa biega po ulicach, płata figle i psoty, w końcu ukrywa się w pudle na kapelusze i wraz z panią dostaje się do pokoju hotelowego. Tam podgląda panią w kąpieli i gdy ta wychodzi, małpa zaczyna ją naśladować.
Opowieść o tym, że bezmyślne naśladowanie innych, zawsze prowadzi do śmieszności…
